Purchase Order Information
PLEASE NOTE THAT CREDIT/DEBIT/PURCHASE CARD TRANSACTIONS THRU OUR WEB SITE ARE PREFERRED, AND ORDERS WITH MULTIPLE NEW LICENSES GET A 20% DISCOUNT ON THE SECOND AND SUBSEQUENT LICENSES WHEN THE ORDER IS PLACED THRU OUR SITE WITH A CREDIT CARD. ORDERS PLACED WITH A PO ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS DISCOUNT.
Dirigo Software accepts purchase orders only from police departments within the United States and for orders totalling $199 or more (without shipping). We will not accept purchase orders from private individuals or private companies or police departments outside the United States. Anyone other than a police department within the United States must place their orders with a credit or debit card.
To place an order with us with a purchase order please do the following:
- Through whatever process your entity requires, generate a purchase order to purchase our products.
- Once a valid, signed purchase order has been generated please forward the order to us either as an attachment to an e-mail, through the regular US mail, or (better yet) send us a message, here: Send a PO
Purchase Order Terms (Effective December 1, 2006)
No software programs associated with a purchase order may be activated (or “unlocked”) until the order is paid for in full, including all late fees, finance charges and other fees incurred (if applicable).
- Please note that the following terms are the ONLY terms that are acceptable to Dirigo Software for the privilege of placing orders for our software by qualified police agencies with Purchase Orders. If your department does not agree with even one item in this list then Dirigo Software does not accept your Purchase Order and you will need to place your order with a check or credit/debit card, instead.
- These terms supersede any and all other terms whether written or oral, by either party.
- Payment terms are DUE ON RECEIPT.
- Our Invoice is packaged in with your software order if the "Bill To" and "Ship To" address is the same, otherwise it is mailed to the "Bill To" address on the Purchase Order the same day the order is shipped, which is normally the next business day after receiving the Purchase Order. We are not responsible for lost or misdirected mail nor misplaced invoices, and we do not accept any of these as an excuse for late payments.
- Can't lay your hands on our Invoice within a week or so of placing your order? Please contact us as soon as possible for one and we'll be happy to e-mail it in PDF format within a few minutes of your request.
- Can't lay your hands on your order within a week or so of placing your order? Please contact us as soon as possible and we'll be happy to re-ship your USB drives (if ordered) the next business day after your notification if our trace does not indicate the shipment was delivered.
- Need a W-9 from us? No problem. We suggest you request a W-9 right along with your PO or soon after placing your order so that your payment is not late. Failure to request or losing a W-9 will not be accepted as an excuse for late payments.
- Have an outdated address for us (does not match the address on the face of the Invoice)? Please make sure you update your records so your check does not get returned to you, causing your payment to be late.
- Have computer malfunctions, or personnel problems, or other reasons why you feel you cannot keep your end of the agreement with these terms? We're sorry for your troubles, but nothing short of a devastating disaster in your area will be accepted as an excuse for late payments.
- Payments not RECEIVED by Dirigo Software BY one calendar month after the date on the invoice will automatically incur a late fee and finance charges (dollar amount is listed on the invoice and is currently set at $55 for the late fee + 18% APR for the Finance Charge).
- Payments received will be applied in the following order: any and all outstanding Finance Charges, followed by any and all outstanding Late Fees, followed by the original Invoice.
- To ensure your payment arrives on time, we recommend that you mail your payment immediately after receiving your Invoice.
- Can't possibly meet these terms or don't want to wait for us to receive full payment before your programs can be activated? Please have your Purchasing Dept. place the order online with a credit card or send a check and we'll process your order with that, instead.
